B Unexpected: Oh deer

While looking for those pieces that will make my room feel cozy, I'm not sure how I found myself attracted to deer. I am not the 'outdoorsy' type though I think that's why I want something unexpected and far from my pink and girly bedrooms I have had once before. Deer heads and silhouettes have come a long way and no longer have that creepy face you imagine staring at you, add this animal trend with a chevron it is instantly chic. What do you think?

B Tan: Winter glow

Though I am probably the only person in new York looking forward to snowfall I couldn't help but dream of the beach after spying this bikini during some online shopping this weekend. A three day weekend of relaxation was exactly what I imagine a getaway to the beach to be. So though I didn't get 80 degrees (more like 15) I did get a bit of color back thanks to a late birthday gift. My friend sent me a self tanner she swears by and I have made it a rule to not try anything semi-permanent without recommendations. The product was easy to use and I came out with a healthy winter glow just to feed my summer craving.

B Housed: An ampersand detail

As I'm continuing to put the finishing details on my apartment I have found myself drawn to ampersand details. Whether its a standing object, screen print or a delicate ring I need to find a way to incorporate this trendy type into my decor. It's a little bit unexpected & beautiful in nature.

B Giddy: It's my birthday!

Being 24 was a life changing year and I should've gotten the hint it'd be that way when I started the new year fracturing my foot but I had no idea what was to come. While it seemed like the worst way to start it didn't over shadow my year that had so many changes. Graduating college, traveling to Europe, getting in shape, finding a job and moving to NYC! And how could I forget that at 24 was when I became to you all a DIY'er. It's been a great year and as I've heard, it only gets better from here. Bring it on 25, let's see what you bring!

There a few things that I can’t get enough of. Blogs, fashion, food and beautiful blogs with amazing foodtography. Enter- Sous Style. The blog that combines all my favorite things in one convenient stream. Just added to my enormously long blog list and highly recommend you do the same. B Back: Where I've been

 I don’t even want to mention the date of my last blog post but I guess the holidays got the best of me and with that inspiration left. I suppose it does happen when you’re on information overload, losing a direction and not knowing what to share. . Do you ever get overwhelmed? I never start years with resolutions, I just pledge to make myself happy and blogging does just that. I started on a whim with no direction or goals and it became away for me to express myself creatively. So I apologize for my disappearance but more importantly apologize to myself for forgetting to do what I love. I’m back folks. And no promises this is the last cheesy post for 2012...
